Our Virtual Ride was born in 2020 as a result of the Covid pandemic lockdown, to offer our members a way to stay active without having to travel. Since then, a significant number of riders, both AEMA members and non-members, from various European and American countries have participated. 

AEMA offers a riding program designed to provide a progression of learning and training as a means not only to ride side-saddle regularly, but also to receive clarifications and advice that will help you improve your sidesaddle riding technique. 

A system for developing fitness and improving side-saddle riding skills with a progressive method to improve and move forward. A way to acquire knowledge and experience to perfect side-saddle riding in various equestrian disciplines. 

AEMA tests offer the opportunity to practice from the comfort of your home or equestrian center at the time that suits you best without travel, earn rosettes and receive constructive and encouraging feedback from SSA judges certified in Side-Saddle Riding. 

Participating is very simple. All you need is an arena, or, if you don't have one, mark out a 40 x 20m rectangle on flat ground, place the letters or some markers in their place (posts, flowerpots), and a mobile phone or video camera to film your test.
